Girl Scouts can commemorate their cookie program participation and success with a combination of patches! Patches are earned even if a Girl Scout or troop chooses to opt-out of cumulative rewards. Check out this year’s patches on the Reward Panel and in Smart Cookies! 

Girl Scouts can earn Program Credits called Cookie Dough, which are awarded at the end of the program on a digital account number emailed to each family. Earners can spend their Cookie Dough on GSGI programs, camps, shop items, and even donate back to GSGI to help support the Girl Scout Mission. Girl Scouts can select either Cookie Dough or items at all reward levels, mixing and matching Cookie Dough with reward items! Base Cookie Dough has been replaced with Cookie Dough selections at each reward level. 

Girl Scouts have until September 15, 2026, to use the Cookie Dough earned during the 2026 cookie program. For more information about Cookie Dough, please see the 2025–2026 Program Credit Policy.  

NEW THIS YEAR! We heard your feedback and have made exciting updates to our rewards to focus on what Girl Scouts truly want—more choices and flexibility! You’ll notice rewards are now a truly custom experience in every way—from Cookie Dough to reward items, a Girl Scout can choose everything.  

Rewards are now separated into two sections—the Reward Panel and Reward Points. The Reward Panel contains cumulative rewards with choices at each level (2–7) for 48–408 packages sold. Girl Scouts who sell 508+ packages unlock Reward Points! Reward Points offer even more choice and flexibility to select rewards that work best for each Girl Scout. Details for both options are outlined below!

We know that Girl Scouts love experiences! Troop and Juliette experience rewards are earned based on Per-Girl-Averages (PGA), while individual experience rewards are earned by each Girl Scout once they receive designated amount of packages sold. These experience rewards are in addition to other selected rewards!

After reviewing member feedback, the Instant Rewards section of the Reward Panel has been retired. All rewards will be distributed after the program ends. 

Reward Panel selections are submitted in the Reward Order, due March 30, by the cookie volunteer in Smart Cookies. Girl Scouts should communicate their Reward Panel selections to the cookie volunteers. They can do this through Digital Cookie, however, it doesn't automatically carry over to Smart Cookies and the cookie volunteer will still need to make the selection in Smart Cookies. 

Parents/Guardians of Girl Scouts who sell 508+ packages (1 RP or higher) will be contacted via email the week of April 6 to choose how they want to spend their rewards. The deadline for choice selection is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 26. Anyone who doesn't respond by the deadline will have rewards defaulted to Cookie Dough. There will be no exceptions due to tight timelines for securing the rewards for quick delivery. 

Are you planning to earn camp as a cookie reward? We strongly encourage you to hold a spot by registering and paying the deposit when camp registrations open. We expect most camps to fill quickly (especially Horse Camps!) Deposits will be refunded when Cookie Rewards are confirmed.

Note: Deposits will only be refunded for an earned session. Families can’t hold more than one spot for 1 earned session and ask for all deposits to be refunded.

🌲 Day Camp Experience

• Day camp is great for first-time campers! Camp Sacajawea and Camp Tanglefoot offer day camp sessions where Girl Scouts get to come to camp without their parents/guardians, but don’t spend the night! They’re grouped with other day campers and have fun making new friends. Like other types of camp sessions, day camps have themes for the day but also enjoy classic camp activities.
